The listed holding company Whitestone announced on Monday that it had raised 3.5 million euros in a new private placement. Invest.BW enters the capital

After Whitestone successfully completed a private placement of 8 million euros last December, the listed holding company of former CNP employees is now doing it again.

This time, it is a 3.5 million euro placement that has just been completed, mostly subscribed by the public investment company Invest.BW, we learned on Monday at the close of the markets.

“Our geographical proximity and the investment strategy that we share with Invest.BW will strengthen our position as a key investor in Walloon Brabant.
FRÉDÉRIC POUCHAIN
CEO OF WHITESTONE

As with the first operation, the money raised here will have two objectives. Firstly, it will be used to support the companies currently in the portfolio, such as the Neuchâtel-based scale-up company EMAsphere, which is active in digital business management, and the Brussels-based solution for helping retailers manage their customer databases, Freedelity. Secondly, it will be used to finance a future acquisition, or even two, said Philippe Masset, chairman of the holding company dedicated to mature and profitable SMEs and Belgian startups/scale-ups, at the end of last year.
